Bounce is gebouwd door 3 Belgische vrienden, Antoine, Maxime & Greg, die allemaal al meer dan 25 jaar tennis spelen. Dus ja, we komen uit de tenniswereld, maar sinds een paar jaar spelen we steeds meer padel. Als je een potje tennis of padel wilt organiseren, zijn wij erbij! Maar dat is niet waarom we Bounce (en deze pagina) hebben gebouwd, we hebben het gebouwd omdat we te gefrustreerd waren om elke week, maand, jaar zoveel ballen weg te gooien.
Destijds wisten we niet dat deze sporten het milieu vervuilden en dat er elk jaar honderden miljoenen ballen werden geproduceerd. Nou, dit werd onze missie: tennis en padel duurzamer maken.
Bounce is gebouwd door spelers voor spelers die geloven dat we samen een verschil kunnen maken in onze sporten!
We hebben besloten om de Bounce tube te gaan maken, die wij trouwens als eersten gebruiken, om met betere ballen te kunnen spelen bij elk spel. Zoals je weet, begint elk spel met de vraag "Heb je goede ballen?" en met de Bounce tube willen we dat elke speler "JA" kan antwoorden. Ons doel was om de beste pressurizer op de markt te maken (wat een geweldig woord is dat, toch?). Voor ons betekent de beste een geweldig ontwerp, gemakkelijk in gebruik en natuurlijk zeer efficiënt. Bovendien is de Bounce tube ongelooflijk veilig, er is geen risico om gewond te raken dankzij de hoes die aan de tube is bevestigd (dat betekent ook geen champagnefles-effect, sorry...).
De Bounce tube is ons eerste product en we beschouwen het als onze baby. Maar we besloten snel om een ander product voor clubs te ontwikkelen. Inderdaad, dit zijn de belangrijkste ballengebruikers en het was belangrijk voor ons om hen een oplossing te kunnen bieden. We hebben daarom de Bounce pro ontwikkeld met als visie dat elke club het op een dag dagelijks gebruikt.
Helaas worden ballen op een gegeven moment "dood". Je kunt er niet meer mee spelen omdat de druk te laag is en er geen vilt meer om de bal zit. Voor ons was het cruciaal om een oplossing te vinden, of zelfs meerdere oplossingen.
Voorlopig verzamelen en recyclen we tennisballen in België en creëren we nieuwe sportvelden. We hebben als ambitie om 95% van de ballen te recyclen. Vandaag recyclen we ongeveer 5% ervan, dus er is duidelijk ruimte voor verbetering en we zijn klaar voor de uitdaging!
